FAQ

Straight answers.

The questions every owner-operator asks before signing on, answered without the sales pitch.

Am I locked into a contract?
No. We earn your business load by load. Leave whenever you want, no notice period, no penalty.
Do you take a cut of every load?
Only loads we book. Freight you find yourself is 100% yours, and we can still handle the paperwork on it if you want.
Can I refuse a load?
Always. We book inside the rules you set: lanes, rates, home-time. You approve every load before we commit.
What do you need to get started?
MC authority, certificate of insurance, and a W-9. Most drivers are rolling within a day or two.
Do you work with new authorities?
Yes. New MCs face tougher broker requirements. We know which brokers work with new authorities and how to get you set up.
How do I get paid?
Brokers pay you or your factoring company directly. We never touch your money; our 5% is invoiced separately.
What equipment do you dispatch?
Dry van, reefer, and flatbed or step deck. Each has a dedicated page describing how we run it.
Do you force dispatch?
Never. Forced dispatch is for company drivers. You own the truck; you make the call on every load.
Are your dispatchers US-based?
Yes, 100%. Every TopLane dispatcher lives and works in the United States. No overseas call centers, ever.
What states do you cover?
All 48 contiguous states, coast to coast. Wherever your lanes run, we can book them.
